Scope and who we are
Wisdom Study Circle provides tuition-centre administration and learning services, including attendance, fees, results, homework, study materials, examinations, timetables, notifications and communication tools. This policy applies to the public website and the official Android application connected to wisdomstudycircle.in.
Information we process
Account and identity
Name, username, email, phone number, role, admission or employee identifier, class, batch and related account details.
Academic and administrative records
Attendance, homework, study materials, examinations, results, timetable, progress, library activity, fee status, receipts and notices and notifications.
Files and content you provide
Profile photographs, documents selected for upload, feedback, join requests, account-deletion requests and feedback submitted through enabled features.
Device and service data
Android device identifier, device model, app version, Firebase messaging token, sign-in sessions, IP address and limited server diagnostics used for security and troubleshooting.
How we use information
- Authenticate accounts and keep sessions secure.
- Provide the correct Student, Teacher or Super Admin experience.
- Display and manage academic, attendance, fee and learning records.
- Deliver notices and push notifications when enabled.
- Respond to support, feedback, join and account-deletion requests.
- Prevent misuse, investigate errors and improve reliability.
- Meet educational, accounting and legal obligations.
Children and student accounts
Student accounts and records are created, approved or managed by Wisdom Study Circle. Parents or guardians should contact the institution regarding consent, access, correction, retention or deletion of a child's information. The app is not designed for unrestricted anonymous registration by children.
Security
The Android app blocks clear-text network traffic and uses HTTPS. Session tokens are stored using Android Keystore-backed encrypted storage. Server access is role-checked, sensitive downloads use expiring links, and the app disables Android cloud backup for its private data.
No system can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect passwords, keep devices updated and report suspicious activity promptly.
Retention and deletion
Information is retained while an account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary for education, support, security, legal, accounting and record-keeping purposes. Retention periods can differ by record type.
Students and teachers can submit an account-deletion request from Profile → Request account deletion in the Android app. Requests are reviewed by an authorised administrator. Some information may be retained when required for legal, financial, examination, fraud-prevention or institutional record obligations.
Your choices and rights
- Review profile and available academic information in the app.
- Request correction through the institution administrator.
- Allow or deny Android notification permission in device settings.
- Sign out to remove the active app session from the device.
- Submit a reviewable account-deletion request from the app.
- Contact us to ask about access, correction, restriction or deletion, subject to applicable law and institutional obligations.
Google Sign-In, Firebase and external links
When enabled, Google Sign-In may provide a verified account identifier, email, name and profile image so the server can match an existing authorised account. Firebase Cloud Messaging uses an app-instance token to deliver notifications. External websites opened from the app have their own privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when features, legal requirements or service providers change. The current version and its update date will remain available at this public page.
